Cassidy is ready to jump back into Hip-Hop this year with his upcoming album, C.A.S.H., and now he’s just dropped a video for the track ‘Face 2 Face’, which will be on the LP. The clip was directed by John Colombo and Julian Alexander.
Foxy Brown, aka Inga Marchand, who has had recent legal trouble for violating an order of protection and mooning a woman on the sidewalk, sparked a scuffle in the lobby of a Manhattan building Friday.
According to the New York Daily News, the female MC decided to skip an interview where she was supposed to explain her side of the story regarding her arrest last week, and then began to throw a tantrum.
A source claims she was “out of control” and began to attack her own entourage, forcing them to call her manager, Bernadette Brennan, who was unable to calm her down.
It took 10 people to eventually break up the altercation, and when cops arrived due to the noise Brown had already fled the scene.
No one from Brown’s camp has come forward to comment on the incident.
The New York Times recently had a chance to preview the video for Kanye West’s new single, Power, and according to their review, there is nothing low-key about it. Directed by Marco Brambilla, the video features West surrounded by partially and fully naked woman wearing devil horns, suspended from the ceiling, and kneeling before him just as he is about to be beheaded by the sword of Damocles.
Brambilla explained the video as his and West’s attempt to visually display power.
“It’s a very exaggerated, hyper-sensational version of what the song is saying,” he said. “But at the same time, it has this fallibility to it. Because built into the story is that there is an ultimate fallibility, in bringing someone back down to earth at the end of the piece. That kind of contradiction, hopefully, will create the tension within it.”
The video will premiere exclusively on Kanye’s official website within the next week.

In a recent interview with VIBE Magazine, DJ Khaled talked about his hopes to work with Eminem in the future.
The Hip-Hop producer says that he believes a collaboration with the Detroit MC would be “f*cking crazy.”
“I’m telling Eminem right now, if we get in the studio I know that I’m going to get the best out of Eminem, and he’s going to write the most incredible verse that he’s ever written in his life, and it’s going to be the biggest f*cking anthem in the streets and it’s going to be the biggest anthem when we get together, and I know this for a fact, and God willing, it’s going to happen,” Khaled said. Already with some other artists in mind for the record, Khaled says he wants to present the idea to Eminem first and make sure he gets on board.
“I just gotta get with Em in the studio to present the concept and then from there, he’s going to say Khaled, turn the mic on,” the Def Jam South President explains. “And I’m going to say, of course I am. It’s going to be anthematic. It’s going to be the biggest anthem in the world. I’ma find a way, don’t worry.”
Earlier this month, Khaled served as a panelist at MTV’s 1st Annual Sucker Free Summit where he along with many other artists chose 8 categories awarding 2010’s best Hip-Hop artists in the industry.
