Nicki Minaj premiered the video for her latest radio hit, “Your Love,” today, which is very interesting to say the least. The video focuses around a martial arts theme, and features female MC trying to win the love of her instructor, who is played by actor Michael Jai White (Why Did I Get Married?). Eventually, everything comes down to one final battle where she must fight another female suitor in order to win his love, which ends with one dead. “Your Love” is the second single off of Minaj’s upcoming untitled debut album, scheduled to hit stores November 23.

The first video, “Beautiful Monster” features the R&B crooner taking on a superhero persona as a female villain tries to capture him and destroys the city in the process.

The second video, “Champagne Life,” is a continuation of the first one and explains how Ne-Yo received his powers, which he is apparently supposed to use to save the world. The video ends with him meeting his love interest/female villain, and the audience is lead to believe that another video is in the works to continue the saga.

DJ Scoob Doo has released the video for Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane’s “We Be Steady Mobbin” collaboration. Since it’s release, many people have been wondering how the two rappers filmed the video together considering Lil Wayne began his jail sentence before Gucci was released from his own stint in prison, but according to recent findings neither rapper shot their scenes together. Lil Wayne filmed his part of the video before the start of his prison sentence, whereas Gucci shot his scene after he was released. Scoob, who directed the clip, said the video serves as a preview to Lil Wayne’s upcoming DVD, “The Nino Brown Story Pt. 3.”

Arizona rapper B.C., aka Been Cold, has teamed up with Cali Untouchables producer September 7th for his debut project, Menace II The Industry. Following in the shoes of rappers Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and Cypress Hill, B.C. plans on keeping gangster rap alive, which is evident in the previously released video for his Cypress Hill cover “Kill A Man.” With the release of his mixtape, Been Cold has premiered a brand new video for the song “The South West Is Back” featuring Explosiv.

With the recent release of his final album, Love King,  The-Dream has released a twelve-minute video trilogy featuring the songs “Yamaha,” “Nikki Pt. 2,” and Abyss.

The video, shot by Motion Family,  takes place in a warehouse setting, and involves the singer revolving each song around a single female lead. The trilogy also comes as apart of The-Dream’s Love King DVD, which is now available everywhere along with the album.

Last night’s BET Awards was filled with star-studded performances from Drake, Trey Songz, Eminem, Kanye West and Alicia Keys, but the most talked about performance of the night came from none other than Chris Brown.

After not being able to perform a tribute to Michael Jackson at last year’s BET Awards, Chris Brown was given a second chance to pay his respects to the King of Pop at this year’s awards show. The R&B crooners performance was introduced by Jermaine Jackson and featured the Brown singing and imitating the dance moves of Michael Jackson to his hit’s “Billie Jean,” “The Way You Make Me Feel,” and “Remember the Time.” The tribute was playing out smoothly up until the medley’s finale, “Man in the Mirror,” where the singer became overwhelmed with emotion and broke down in tears.  Brown, who tried to regain his composure, was unsuccessful in his attempts, and unable to sing his way through the the remainder of the song.

Nearing the end of the show, Brown won AOL’s Fandemonium Prize, and let his fans know he was sorry for his past mistakes (notably the Rihanna incident) stating, “I let you down before but I won’t do it again, I promise.”

Phoenix rapper BC is back with his a new video for his song “The South West Is Back” from his Menace II the Industry mixtape, which will be available everywhere next week. Check it out.

B.o.B. premiered the video for his radio hit “Airplanes,” featuring Hayley Williams, last night on iTunes.  The Paramore front-woman has said in the past that she never met B.o.B during the creation of “Airplanes” and this meeting was delayed once again when it came time to shoot the video, which features the pair in two completely different scenes with lights and graphics reflecting off the walls much-like Drake’s recent video for the song “Over.”  Although director Hiro Murai uses recently seen techniques to showcase B.o.B.’s message, he captures the loneliness within the song through the darkness, separation, and light contrasts, which metaphorically represent the ups and downs of fame. If B.o.B. keeps making hits and putting out videos like this, then we’ll surely be seeing him for a long time to come.
