50

50 Cent plans on releasing a video for his Before I Self Destruct song “So Disrespectful,” where he verbally attacks former G-Unit members the Game and Young Buck.

“There will be a visual for it. The record is working by itself, that one. It just plays with no assistance from the record company, because people like it and personally enjoy it. I wrote that record about people I had issues with that were pretty cool, but at some point, I felt like they crossed me. So I wrote those different things, and it came out good. People enjoy it, 50 said. (Dutch outlet Big FM)

In the song 50 points out his “issues” and speaks on Game’s jealousy towards him, and Young Bucks drug addiction.

C’mon, Game, you’ll never be my equal,” he raps. “Your homies shoot doors, my n*ggas shoot people/ See me, I’m what you’re never gonna be/ I’m in that tax bracket you’re never gon’ see. “I ain’t know he f*cked with more dope than B.G./ Plus a n*gga sip more syrup than Pimp C.”

Game tried to end the feud between him and 50 a few months ago, but 50 refused to ever work with him again.

Lupe Fiasco is planning to sue those responsible for leaking his song “I’m Beaming” last week. The Chicago native took to his blog to address the situation, and claimed that the leak was “not authorized.”

“Actions are being taken and the authorities have been notified. As a personal plea to all my fans PLEASE DO NOT share, stream, or download any unauthorized or stolen Lupe Fiasco music. A lot of time and energy goes into the creation of this music, not to mention large sums of money, money provided by my record company as well as from my own personal finances… With the history that surrounds the devastating and massive piracy of my first album i’m sure some of you can understand why this very harsh stance that is being taken up. And for those of you unsympathetic enough not to understand I can only compare it to someone breaking into your house and stealing everything not tied down or someone kidnapping your sister or brother and ransoming them back to you, Lupe said. (HipHopDx)

Lupe’s new album, Lasers, is scheduled to be released in 2010, which features the song “I’m Beaming.”

B.G. has left T.I.’s Grand Hustle Records, and is now looking for a new label.

The New Orleans rapper says he is now a “free agent” after he decided it was time to separate from Grand Hustle after his album, Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood, wasn’t getting proper support from the label.

“I’m gonna sit down with the people that closest to me like my manager and lawyers and see what’s the best route to do. [Grand Hustle,] no, all that’s over with. [T.I.] was the executive producer of the project with me when it was on Atlantic. After the situation with him and the Hip Hop Awards, they kind of froze up on me, kept pushing the album back. This was pre-recession. Once I felt like they were playing with me, I stopped calling, got back doing what I was doing, creating another opportunity.” (SOHH)

B.G.’s album, Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood, is currently sitting at No. 77 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.

In recent months there has been a lot of talk that B.G. may be reuniting with the Hot Boys and putting out an album. The Southern native has been quoted in interviews saying the reunion is possible if the numbers are right.

T.I. has reportedly been released from jail.

According to BET, sources from Atlantic Records broke the news today that T.I. is in fact out of prison, and will be spending some time in a halfway house in Atlanta.

Rumors circulated a week ago claiming that T.I. may not serve his full sentence, and could be released as early as January.

Bureau of Prisons spokesman Edmond Ross spoke to MTV last week about the possibility of T.I.’s release.

“If his full-term release date is in March, it’s not uncommon for an individual to be released to a halfway house to serve out the last portion of their federal sentence. There are a number of factors that need to be considered: if the person is not a danger to the community, the current offense, the individual’s prior criminal history, the availability of programs and space availability.” (MTV)

T.I. was originally expected to serve three more months in prison, and there is no word at this time on why he was let out early.

kidcudi

Kid Cudi is scheduled to make an appearance on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien this evening.

Cudi will be performing on tonight’s episode only. Unfortunately, there will not be an interview so we still won’t get a chance to hear his side of story about the incident where he punched a fan during a show over a week ago, which possibly lead to his removal from Lady Gaga’s tour.

Still check out the show tonight to watch Kid Cudi’s live performance.

Cudi was mistakenly identified Monday by the LAPD as being a part of a burglary in the area. Cudi was detained for a short period of time, and then released.
